Lloyds 12 Month Warranty
At Lloyds Jewellery, we stand behind the quality of our products. All of our jewellery is covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty ensures your item is free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship under normal use.
What is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing faults such as defective clasps, chains, or settings
- Structural faults in the item that occur during normal, intended wear
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed by our suppliers after inspection, the item will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, misuse, or wear and tear (e.g. bent/broken items, snapped chains due to pulling or snagging)
- Damage caused by improper care or cleaning methods
- Tarnishing or surface changes due to chemicals, moisture, or improper storage
- Items that have been altered, modified, or repaired by a third party
- The loss of stones or diamonds caused by impact, snagging, or improper wear
- Loss or theft of the entire item
We reserve the right to determine the cause of damage based on assessment by our manufacturer.
Claims Process
To make a claim under this warranty:
- Contact us by email with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Provide clear photos of the item where possible.
- If requested, return the item to us for inspection.
- Please retain your proof of postage and receipt, as these may be required for tracking, reimbursement, or confirming that the item was returned.
Return postage for warranty claims is the responsibility of the customer initially. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery, as we cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in transit.
If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing fault, we will reimburse your return postage and repair or replace the item. If the fault is not covered under warranty, we will notify you of the findings and provide a repair quote where possible. In such cases, return of the item will be free of charge.
Alternative Repairs
Customers are free to seek local or independent repairs if they prefer. However, please note that this will void the warranty, and we are unable to reimburse or cover costs for work carried out by third parties.
